The Things You'll Do For Love - Part 2

Even though this is a part 2, it's not about me. Today it's about my son, Ben, and the things he'll do for love, particularly his love for the theatre. First of all, you need to know that Ben really likes his hair...alot. Others often inquire why we let him grow it so long. Well, he likes it that way, and really, as long as he's representing himself well, is hair really an issue?


But as much as he likes his hair, he also likes the theatre. He's not into playing sports, but the boy sure likes the stage. This weekend he will be in his third production at Steeple Players, our community theatre. The play is called The Homecoming and it is actually the story that the television series The Waltons was based on. He's one of the eight Spencer children (think "Walton family") and well, the boys had short, clean-cropped, red hair - not exactly Ben...until now.
